Wayne County Grand Jury Indicts 32 Individuals
The regular monthly meeting of the Wayne County Grand Jury
resulted in 32 indictments being filed in the Circuit Clerks Office
on Thursday, July 22nd. Viewers are reminded the indictment
of a person by a Grand Jury is an accusation only and that
person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Shanda L Stinson was indicted for Fraud or False Statement in
Obtaining Benefits over $10,000, a Class C Felony and Fraud or
False Statement in Obtaining Benefits over $500, a Class D
Felony.

Michelle R. Atkinson, Maurice Napier, and Kenneth Lower were
Each charged with Flagrant Nonsupport, a Class D Felony.

Jeffrey Sexton was charged with Receiving Stolen Property over
$500, a Class D Felony and Obsuring the Identity of a Machine,
a Class D Felony.

Troy E Paige and Jimmy D Rednour were charged with Manufacturing
Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony – Controlled Substance Endangerment
to a Child, a Class D Felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st
Degree, a Class D Felony.

Bobby Buster and Jennifer Givens were charged with Manufacturing
Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony – Unlawful Possession of a
Methamphetamine Precursor, 1st Offense, a Class D Felony and
Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree. Givens was also
Indicted for Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree.

Heather Boston and Nathan Stephenson were charged two counts of
Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, 2nd Degree, Class D
Felony’s. Boston was also indicted for Persistent Felony Offender,
2nd Degree.

Julie Kempton, Kyle Guffey, Mindy Dishman, Jim Hurt, Janisha Danielle
Muse, Larry Hicks, Felicia Hicks, Elizabeth Hill, Chris Ayers, and Brian
Bryant were each indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st
Offense, a Class B Felony – Engaging in Organized Crime, a Class B
Felony – and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, a Class
D Felony. Larry Hicks, Felicia Hicks, and Brian Bryant were also
charged with Persistent Felony Offender.

Jackie Sullivan and Samuel Leroy Daniels were each indicted for

Robbery, 1st Degree, a Class B Felony and Assault, 2nd Degree, a
Class C Felony. Kristie Anderson and Ruth Matthews were charged
with Complicity to Robbery, 1st Degree, a Class B Felony and Complicity
to Assault, 2nd Degree, a Class B Felony.

Kevin Barnett was indicted for Robbery, 1st Degree, a Class B Felony
and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree. Jesse Brown was charged
with Robbery, 1st Degree, a Class B Felony and Assault, 1st Degree, a
Class B Felony. Daphanie Young and Carrie Hancock were each
indicted for Complicity to Robbery, 1st Degree, a Class B Felony.
Hancock was also charged with Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Stephen Spradlin and Matthew Brown were each indicted for Assault,
1st Degree, a Class B Felony. Spradlin was also charged for Criminal
Attempt to Commit Murder, a Class B Felony and Persistent Felony
Offender, 1st Degree. Brown was also charged with Robbery, 1st
Degree, a Class B Felony, Richard Sullivan and Daphanie Young were
indicted for Complicity to Robbery, 1st Degree, a Class B Felony and
Complicity to Assault, a Class B Felony.

Listeners are reminded the indictment of a person by a Grand Jury
iIs an accusation only – and that person is presumed innocent until and
unless proven guilty.
