WSO makes two arrests following “road rage” incident

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron 2 individuals were
arrested after Deputies responded to a complaint of a vehicle ramming
another vehicle.

On December 7, 2024, at approximately 6:03 Wayne County Sheriff
Office Deputies Jerry Meadows, Valis Smedley and Jerry Coffey
responded to the complaint at a residence located on Morris Hill Road.
Upon their arrival the Deputies observed two vehicles had sustained
damage consistent with the complaint. The Deputies learned that a
female operator of a Chevrolet Malibu passenger car had rammed a
Nissan SUV while a male subject was sitting inside of it. Both the female
and male gave the same details of the incident. Both also stated that
the same type of incident occurred the previous night but was not
reported to law enforcement involving both. This incident occurred
after the male continued telling the female repeatedly to kill herself
according to her.

Deputy Jerry Meadows charged and arrested Tiffiany A. Gladish of
Monticello, KY. for wanton endangerment-1 st degree.

Deputy Valis Smedley arrested the involved male subject, Tracy Kidd of
Monticello, KY. on an unrelated incident Wayne County Circuit Court
Indictment Warrant of Arrest for burglary-2nd degree and trafficking in a
controlled substance-1rst degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of
methamphetamine).
