Wayne County Schools congratulate Jamie Hutchison for maintenance of National Board Certification and Jessica Thrasher for becoming a Go Teach KY Ambassador.
Jamie Hutchinson recently completed her maintenance of National Board Certification. As many know this is no easy task to accomplish or maintain. She has worked extremely hard to continue her education and provide an outstanding education to the students she serves, while demonstrating what a lifelong learner means. National Board Certification (NBC) is a voluntary, advanced teaching credential that goes beyond state licensure. NBC has national standards for what accomplished teachers should know and be able to do. The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) certifies teachers who successfully complete its rigorous certification process.
