A murder investigation is underway in Wayne County.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department was called to the Cart Bell Ridge Road area in the Parnell community of Wayne County around 4AM Sunday morning. According to KSP, 60-year-old Norman McGuire of Monticello has been charged with murder in connection to the death.
The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Berry Rainer Rose III, who was found outside his home. Mr. Rose was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Wayne County Coroner’s Office.
