The Wayne County man who is charged with an early Sunday morning armed robbery at Murphy’s and subsequent four County police pursuit appeared in Wayne District Court Monday.
36 year old Christopher Guinn is charged by Monticello Police with Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder for the armed robbery attempt, and by Kentucky State Police with 12 offenses in connection with the police pursuit.
Monticello Police Chief Joey Hoover testified at today’s hearing, and District Judge Scarlet Latham said enough evidence was presented to send the case to the Wayne County Grand Jury. Guinn’s bond was set at $1 million dollars cash only. He remains lodged in the Adair County Detention Center. (MPD Photo)
