UK Basketball Conference announced

Additional pieces to the 2025-26 Kentucky men’s basketball schedule were unveiled by the Southeastern Conference on Wednesday. The Wildcats are slated to play all 15 league foes at least once and will tangle with Florida, Tennessee and Vanderbilt in home-and-home fashion.

The league office debuted the 2025-26 home-and-away designations for the league schedule which once again features an 18-game slate. Kentucky will play nine games within the friendly confines of Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center and play an equal number of games on the road.

This season, the Wildcats will take on Florida, Tennessee and Vanderbilt in a home-and-home series. It will extend two of the longest-played series in the nation with multiple dates against the Volunteers and Commodores. Kentucky and Florida met just once a season ago, the first time since 1963-64 that the two teams did not meet twice in a regular season.

Kentucky’s league home schedule will include the three aforementioned teams as well as Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Texas. UK’s road matchups will include Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

Times, dates and television information will be announced at a later date.

UK’s home-and-home slate features three intriguing matchups. The Wildcats will take on Florida, which is the reigning national champion, for two dates next season. Kentucky claimed the lone matchup between the two teams a season ago, with the Cats earning a 106-100 victory in Rupp Arena. Kentucky leads the all-time series by a 111-42 mark.

Kentucky has played Tennessee more than any other program in its history and owns a 163-79 all-time record after taking both regular-season meetings a season ago. Tennessee was able to generate its first win against the Cats in NCAA Tournament action with a Sweet 16 victory on March 28.

Kentucky leads the all-time series with Vanderbilt 158-50. The teams split their meetings a season ago, with both teams winning at home. The Wildcats are 87-16 against VU in Lexington.

Those interested in new season tickets are encouraged to enter the season-ticket lottery. Due to the extremely high renewal rate of men’s basketball season tickets, only a limited number of upper-level tickets are available each year through the lottery.

A limited number of new lower-level season tickets are available with a capital pledge commitment, as are memberships in Rupp Arena’s newest hospitality space, the Champions Club. For more information on premium options, please contact the K Fund Office at (859) 257-6300.
