The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 office advises motorists that beginning Friday, Aug. 22, KY 90 in Wayne County will be temporarily reduced to one lane for bridge cleaning and painting.
Starting Friday, the bridge over Otter Creek (mile point 1.91) will be reduced to one lane, with temporary traffic signals in place on the eastbound and westbound approaches. Once work is completed at Otter Creek, crews will move to the Beaver Creek Bridge (mile point 8.69) to begin similar work.
The project is scheduled for completion by July 2026. The start date and duration of lane closures may be adjusted due to weather conditions or other unforeseen delays.
Motorists should expect delays in the work zone and are encouraged to allow extra time for travel.
