She is survived by: one daughter, Kathy Turpin (Stephen); one stepson, Thomas Gibson; son-in-law, Jim Stringer; sister-in-law, Janet Lester; grandchildren, Kimberly Laird (Coby), Shane Humble (Jackie), Isaac Stringer, Zachary Hall (Jessica), and Jennifer Gibson; and great grandchildren, Sydney, Thomas, Braxton, Jackson, and Luna; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
