Forrest Richard Hicks, age 66, son of the late Marvin and Mary Ann Hicks, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Wayne County Hospital.
He is survived by: his wife, Susie Hicks; two sons, Daniel Hicks (Chelsie) and Tyler Hicks (Bertie); grandchildren, Milo, Hudson, Shia, and Gideon; stepchildren, Betsy Marlow, Joshua Tucker (Tammy), and Lucas Tucker; and step grandchildren, Bethany and Wesley Marlow, Griffin, Autumn, Riley and Aiden Tucker. He is also survived by his siblings: Gordon Hicks (Marla), Jill Lawson (Steve), and Jan Lewis (Larry); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2025, between 3 pm – 9 pm with Masonic services at 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
