Connie Bertram, age 77, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at her home.
Connie was a beloved sister, companion, aunt, business owner and friend to so many. She is lovingly survived by her brother, Bob (Faye) Bertram, two sisters, Carolyn (Darrell) Shearer and Joyce (Ronnie) Taylor; and her special life companion, Milton Rector, who share life with her in love and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie and Pearl Bertram; two brothers, Bill and Tank Bertram; and her special great-niece, Trannie Brooke DeRossett, all of whom welcomed her home with open arms.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
