Velma Ruth Gossage, age 93, widow of Lester Gossage, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, KY.
She is survived by: one son, Ray (Carol) Gossage and one daughter, Carolyn (Mike) Anderson, both of Monticello, KY; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2026, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
