Tresa Jan (Stinson) Huckaby of Alpha, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset Kentucky, having attained the age of 58 years, and 29 days. She was born on Monday, August 26, 1968, in Taylor County, Kentucky, the daughter of Barney & Fairzettia (Dishman) Stinson. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Hildalgo Baptist Church. She worked in factory assembly at American Woodmark for many years. Tresa enjoyed sewing, cooking, and visiting Pigeon Forge, but especially loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny Condreay.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Howard Huckaby; children, Daphnie (& Tylor) Dishman, Randall Huckaby, and Faith (& Logan) Campbell; siblings, James (& Michelle) Stinson, Misty (& Anthony) Rednour; grandchildren, Natalie Dishman, Madalyn Dishman, Bayleighanna Huckaby, Remington Huckaby, Keegan McWhorter, Athena Jan Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 12:00 noon EST, in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Carter Huckaby and Bro. Randy Dishman officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2026, beginning at 6:00 P.M. and again on Monday morning beginning at 7:00 am until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Huckaby Family Cemetery in Wayne County Kentucky.
