Barry “Rook” Parmley, age 67, husband of Diane Parmley, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Jean Waddle Care Center.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
2 children, Kyle Parmley and Ashley Taylor
1 brother, Dale Parmley
5 grandchildren, Kayden Downs, Riley Rose, Noah, Nehmiah, and Hannah Taylor
1 great-grandchild, Daniel Joseph Rook Downs
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elk Spring Cemetery.
