Bonnie Olene Floyd

Bonnie Olene (Aaron) Floyd of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at her residence, having attained the age of 96 years, 7 months, and 1 day. She was born on Saturday, January 25, 1930, in Albany, Kentucky, the daughter of James Addison & Jessie (Hancock) Aaron. She was of the Baptist faith and worked for many years as a change girl at The Sahara Casino while living in Las Vegas, Nevada. She later made her home in Kingman, Arizona, before returning to Albany, Kentucky. She loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed working in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Floyd, whom she wed on July 4, 1957, and siblings, Brad Aaron, Ben Aaron, Beatrice (Aaron) Butler, Mary Fanny (Aaron) Barber, and George A. Aaron.

She is survived by her children, Beverly A. Nowak of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rhonda S. Brown of Bellingham, Washington, Pamela G. Johnson of Kingman, Arizona, and Janet L. Lovell of Albany, Kentucky; sister, Lorane Daxter of Washington State; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
