Cecil Roby Dobbs, age 81, husband of Katherine Faye Dobbs, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Wayne County Hospital.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
2 sons, Harold Gene Dobbs and Cecil Robie Dobbs, Jr.
1 sister, Jewell Bell
5 grandkids, Jessica Keith (Josh), Cody Dewayne Dobbs, Jordan Lucas Dobbs, Madison Brooke Padget (Jarrod) and Megan Dawn Dobbs
6 great grandkids, Taylor Reshea Keith, Payton Elizabeth Keith, Bryler Cole Keith, Owen Dewayne Padget, Logan Dobbs, and Caleb Dobbs
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 5, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elk Spring Cemetery.
