Charlene Kay Lawson, age 73, wife of James Lawson, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at her home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
3 children, James G. Lawson (Rebecca), Teresa Lawson, and Becky Woods (Davey)
9 grandchildren, Sarah Durham, Kayleigh Lawson, Joshua Lawson, Austin Durham, Robert Lawson (Laura Tyrell), Bonnie Lawson (Derrick Smith), Nathan Stinson (Meghan), Cameron Woods, and Jackson Woods
5 great grandchildren
2 aunts, Nellie McQueary and Clora Moore
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July23, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held _ Wednesday, July23, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
