Claudette Lowhorn

Claudette (Sinclair) Lowhorn of Albany, Kentucky, formerly of Adair County, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence in Albany, having attained the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 30 days. She was born on Thursday, October 17, 1946, in Adair County, Kentucky, the daughter of Claude Hansford & Altarene (Murrell) Sinclair. She was of the Baptist faith, a member of Central Grove Baptist Church, and worked in housekeeping for the Clinton County Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Claudette enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with a good book. She was an avid reader who particularly loved Amish novels and also enjoyed watching true crime movies. She loved visiting yard sales and shopping at Goodwill, always enjoying the opportunity to browse and discover something special.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ray Keltner; the father of her children, Michael B. Patton; husband, Dorvin R. Lowhorn; brother, Phillip Sinclair; and a special friend, Jimmie Lynn Thrasher.

She is survived by her children, Sherri (& Phil) Berger, Tommy (& Laure) Patton; stepchildren, Lisa Guffey, Wanda Jones, Becky Lowhorn, Tammy Lowhorn; grandchildren, Natasha (& Stephen) Parnell, Whitney Patton, Sarah Patton, Christian (& Sarah) Patton, James (& Krista) Patton, Taylor (& Eddie) Henry, Bryson Irvin; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special caregiver, Debbie Whinningham; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. C.S.T., in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Huffaker officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026, after 4:00 P.M. and again on Sunday morning after 8:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Adair County, Kentucky.
