Donnie Ray Daniels, II of Wayne County, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at his residence having attained the age of 37 years, 4 months & 4 days. He was born on Thursday, March 12, 1989 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, the son of Donnie R. & Dianna (Wallace) Daniels. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Sandusky Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, riding bikes, and four wheeling. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Tabitha Daniels and Donna Jackson; paternal grandparents, Willard & Susie Daniels; maternal grandparents, William B. & Curtis Wallace.
He is survived by his parents, Donnie & Dianna (Wallace) Daniels of Monticello, Kentucky; sisters, Shannon (& Jeff) Brumley, Samantha (& Charles) Bridgeman, Melissa (& Brandon) Welch, Christy (& Hobert) Powell all of Monticello, Kentucky; nieces & nephews, Summer Brumley, Tabitha Godsey, Mallory Brumley, Kevin Powell, Lydia Welch, Melanie Bridgeman, Lexie Powell, Maci Welch, Crystal Jackson, Makayla Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Dorthea Jackson; great-nieces, Scarlett Godsey and Elliemae Godsey; great-nephew, Dutton Mansfield; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. EST in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Welch officiating. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery in Wayne County. The family will receive friends Monday, July 27, 2026 beginning at 11:00 a.m. EST until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers contributions appreciated to the Donnie Daniels II Funeral Fund.
