Ernest P. Lowe, age 87, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Wayne County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joyce (Stevens) Lowe; three daughters, Rita Mink, Carolyn Tucker, and Mary Kathy Hicks; seven grandchildren, Timothy & Derek Tucker, Troy Hicks, Kristy Ann Morrow, and Eric, Cody, & Casey Mink; eighteen great grandchildren, Kayla, Brinlynn, KaRissa, Cortlynn, & Mattix Tucker, Haley, Jayden, & Emma Hicks, Shaely, Kansas, & Ann-Marie Coffey, Bryce Morrow, Tyson, Azalyn, Damion, Adrien, Brandon, & Rayden Mink; and two great-great grandchildren, Kaiven Coffey, and Coleson Rose.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Old Bethel Church Cemetery.
