She and Marion had no children of their own, but were very instrumental in raising their special nephews, Gerald Lynn Maxwell and Glen Edward Maxwell (Sandra) of Monticello.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Monticello Church of the Nazarene Building Fund or Gideons Bible Plan
