Joan Elaine Myers

Joan Elaine (Conley) Myers, of Albany, Kentucky, Formerly of Springfield Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2025, at The Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 85 years, 3 months, and 19 days. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, on Monday, October 2, 1939, the son of William & Ethel (Cobaugh) Conley. Joan worked for Ontario Department Store in Springfield, Ohio for many years, and was a lifetime member of the Clinton County Auxiliary. In her free time, Joan loved to sit at home, read books, and bake cakes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Melvin “Ron” Myers, whom she wed on Friday, May 27, 1977, son, Martin Ray McAdams, and siblings, Doris Looney, Donna Freeman, Ronald Conley, and Denny Conley.

        She is survived by her children, Darin (& Julie) McAdams of Columbus, Ohio, Craig McAdams of Albany, Kentucky, Missi (& Michael) Bowlin of Albany, Kentucky, Tina (& Steve) Gorsuch of Vandalia, Ohio, Tammy (& John) Evers of Mount Sterling, Ohio, Tari Myers of Albany, Kentucky, fourteen grandchildren, Chasity (& Dallas) Starns, Elainee Parrigin, Allie Jo Finley, Craig McAdams, Alice McAdams, Cindy (& DeSean) Lynch, Angela McAdams, Casey McAdams, Luke Evers, Steve Gorsuch, Chris Gorsuch, Matthew Gorsuch, Teresa Gorsuch, and Jason Myers, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025, beginning at 9:00 A.M. C.S.T. until the funeral hour.  Burial will be in the Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
