Kentucky Dominates Vanderbilt Behind Hot Shooting

The Kentucky Wildcats (13-1, 2-0 SEC) cruised to a 96-78 victory over Vanderbilt on Sunday in Nashville. Fueled by a scorching performance from beyond the arc (15-of-31), the Wildcats saw five players reach double figures, each contributing to the long-range barrage.

Georgia Amoore led the way with 24 points, including three triples, and added nine assists. 1 Amelia Hassett followed closely with 20 points, connecting on an impressive six three-pointers, while also grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out five assists.  

Dazia Lawrence and Clara Strack each chipped in 17 points, with Lawrence knocking down three triples and Strack adding one. Strack also dominated the boards, pulling down 15 rebounds. Teonni Key rounded out the double-digit scorers with 14 points and two three-pointers, along with seven rebounds.

The Wildcats will look to continue their winning streak on Thursday when they travel to Florida for another SEC showdown. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on the SEC Network.
