Melissa Gregory Olmstead, age 53, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Jean Waddle Care Center.
She is survived by: her husband, Thomas Olmstead; three stepsons, Matt (Guadelupe) Olmstead of Monticello, Caleb (Christie) Olmstead of Monticello, and Jeremiah (Haley) Moore of Lexington; and one grandson, Sam Olsmstead. She is also survived by: one sister, Linda (Jose) Garcia of Monticello, KY; two brothers, Billy (April) Miller of Columbia and Mark (Jennifer) Gregory of Pine Knot; and one stepsister, Sherry (Randy) Huck of Byrdstown, TN; several nieces and nephews she loved dearly, who love her dearly, and several fur babies.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
