Nancy Maxine Humble, age 87, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.
She is survived by: 8 children, Margaret Atkinson (husband, Donnie), Maggie Anna Duncan (husband, Cornelius), Danny Perkins (wife, Jenay), Robert Perkins, Deborah Blevins (husband, Rodney), Linda Dishman (husband, Lester), Brenda Frost, and Darla Hay (husband, Scott); 15 grandchildren: Rebecca Nelson (Paige), Bobby Atkinson (Misty), Michael Abbott (Katy), Ashley Barnes, Juliet McFarland (Todd), Kezia Naffin (Brandon), Justin Perkins (Alecian), Megan McCutchen (Dustin), Jessica Johnson (Jeremiah), Amanda Perkins, Miranda Cook (Tyler), John Frost, Ryan Frost, Nathaniel Hay, and Connor Hay; 13 great-grandchildren;
2 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parmley Baptist Church Cemetery.
