Pulaski Sheriff’s Department arrests Lexington man with large amount of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

Sheriff Bobby Jones reports two individuals are in custody following a long term drug investigation.

The incident started in late 2025, when the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division received information about a drug syndicate trafficking in large amounts of methamphetamine. The investigation uncovered individuals in Pulaski County were being supplied in methamphetamine by a source of supply in Lexington. Through the course of the investigation, Detectives began operations to purchase methamphetamine from individuals involved in the case.

On Friday night, early into the morning of Saturday, Detectives conducted an operation to arrest the source of supply. Detectives, along with Deputies from the Patrol Division, staged in the Shopville community, after receiving information the source of supply, who was identified as Robert Conley, age 45, of Lexington, would be traveling to Pulaski County to deliver methamphetamine.

Deputies followed the suspect vehicle into the parking lot of East Way Market, on East Highway 80. Detectives were already in the parking lot, as well, and confirmed Conley was the passenger. Deputies in the parking lot observed Conley handling a box in the floor board of the passenger side.

Once the vehicle parked, Deputies approached the occupants as they exited the vehicle. The occupants were detained. Deputy Dylan West, who was on scene, deployed his K-9, Rocky, to complete a free air sniff of the vehicle. Following the free air sniff, Deputy West determined Rocky alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics.

A search of the vehicle was conducted. On the passenger side of the vehicle, Deputies located approximately 155 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 31.6 grams of Fentanyl, and a loaded 40 caliber pistol.

Following the arrest of Conley, Deputies went to Deck Drive to locate a co-conspirator in the investigation. Deputies were able to locate Tiffany Helton, age 43, of Somerset, and take her into custody.

Conley was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Parole Violation (Kentucky Parole Board Warrant)
  • Distribution of 50 grams or more of a Methamphetamine Mixture (Federal Indictment)
  • Conspiracy to Distribute 50 grams or more of a Methamphetamine Mixture (Federal Indictment)

Helton was arrested and charged with the following:
