The Wayne County Board of Education held a special-called meeting to meet with the Superintendent Screening Committee. Tim Eaton, Kentucky School Board Association consultant, spoke to the Board and Screening Committee about their role and responsibilities for hiring a new Superintendent. Mr. Eaton stated that there were nine applicants, one out of state and eight in state. Then the meeting went into executive session for the screening committee. The meeting was then adjourned.
