Temporary Diversion on U.S. 127 in Clinton County to Begin Tomorrow
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that a temporary traffic diversion will go into effect tomorrow, Friday, July 18, on U.S. 127 in Clinton County.
Beginning Friday afternoon, both northbound and southbound traffic on U.S. 127 will be diverted onto temporary driving lanes near the Russell/Clinton County line at mile point 20. The diversion is required to accommodate ongoing progress on the U.S. 127 realignment project.
The temporary traffic diversion is expected to remain in place for approximately three weeks.
KYTC reminds drivers to exercise caution when traveling through the work zone. Please slow down, eliminate distractions, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment.
Dates and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
Temporary Closure of US 127 Across Wolf Creek Dam Scheduled for July 18
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close U.S. 127 across Wolf Creek Dam (mile point 1.6) on Friday, July 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT.
This closure is necessary for ongoing rehabilitation work on the dam’s spillway gates.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure.
KY 80 to be Reduced to One Lane Beginning Monday in Pulaski County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorist that beginning Monday, July 21, the KY 80 Fishing Creek bridge (mile point 13.8) in Pulaski County will be reduced to one lane as crews perform routine bridge inspections.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane across the structure beginning approximately 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, July 25.
Temporary traffic signals will be in place on the east and west bound approaches for the lane closure.
The dates and duration of the lane closures may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
