A two-vehicle collision occurred at 11:07 a.m. at stop light #3 on the KY 90 bypass.
Major Josh Asberry’s investigation determined a 1993 Ford truck operated by Bobby Barnes, 52, of Monticello, came through the intersection from KY 92 West toward West Columbia Avenue and into the path of an eastbound 2020 Kia Soul operated by Mary Shelton, 53, of Monticello.
Shelton was transported by the Wayne County EMS to the Wayne County Hospital for further examination and treatment of possible injuries. Barnes declined EMS treatment at the scene. (MPD story and photo)
