The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District Eight Office announces that U.S. 27 between traffic signal #19 and #25 has officially reopened following significant cleanup and emergency repairs caused by last week’s destructive tornado in Pulaski County.
While this critical corridor is once again open to the public, cleanup and infrastructure repairs remain ongoing. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures and are urged to drive with caution as crews continue working in the area over the coming weeks.
KY 1642 (Parkers Mill Road) remains closed at its intersection with U.S. 27. Access to Parkers Mill Road is available via KY 914. Additionally, traffic signal #22 at KY 1642 is currently inoperable and may remain out of service for several days or longer.
