Vehicle crashes into home on East KY 90 at Frazer, driver arrested

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron a Wayne County woman has been arrested after driving her vehicle into a residence.

At approximately 9 pm on March 26, 2025, Deputies Brad Tucker, Jerry Coffey and Allen Cash were dispatched to a residence located on East Kentucky Highway 90 for a vehicle driving through a garage door then leaving. The vehicle struck another vehicle parked inside the garage pushing it into an interior wall of a children’s playroom causing further damage to the residence. There was a total of 2 adults and 3 children inside the residence at the time of the incident. While enroute to the scene Deputy Tucker observed a vehicle fitting the description of the fleeing vehicle. Deputy Tucker then conducted a traffic stop and verified this was the vehicle involved. The homeowner arrived at the traffic stop location and verified this was the correct vehicle as well.

Deputy Tucker charged and arrested Emily F. Coomer of Monticello, KY. for 5 counts of wanton endangerment-1st degree, leaving the scene of an accident-failure to render aid or assistance, criminal mischief-1st degree and a traffic violation.

Coomer was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
