Virgil Junior Malone, age 57, of Monticello, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Faye (Brown) Malone; two daughters, Heather and Amanda Wallace; his parents, Virgil Milby and Trula (Lee) Malone; and one sister, Misty Malone.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025, between 11 am and 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hill Top Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Virgil Junior Malone Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
