Wayne County’s unemployment rate for December 2024 was 6.8% compared to 6.3% for November 2024 and 4.9% from December 2023.
Cumberland County had the area’s lowest rate at 4.3% followed by Casey at 5.4, Pulaski at 6.1, Russell at 6.6, Wayne at 6.8 and Clinton at 7.0 % unemployment for December 2024
