The Wayne County Tourism Board met Wednesday for their regular monthly session. The Board discussed the upcoming vacant Executive Directors Position. 15 people have applied for the part time position and interviews will begin soon for the position.
The Board also discussed a possible Parade in celebration of our nation’s 250th Birthday. No action was taken, but the Board did discuss the possibility of the Parade beginning on Kendrick Avenue and continuing to the Public Square in downtown Monticello.
