The Wayne County Tourism Board met Wednesday for their regular monthly session.
The Board voted to move ahead with plans to host the Brandon Roy High School Open Bass Tournament in October, 2026. The Tournament will launch out of Conley Bottom Resort with an expected 200 boats entered.
The Board voted to donate $1000.00 to the awning project at the Wayne County Historical Soceity Building in downtown Monticello.
The Board voted to move ahead with hosting a booth promoting Wayne County at the Louisville Boat Show in January 2026.
The Board discussed placing tourist signage at the triangle on KY 1275 at Mill Springs with no action taken.
