Bobby Coe Burke, age 91, of Monticello, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Wayne County Hospital.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter; Steve (Marla) Burke, Mark (Beverly) Burke, Becky (Tim) Humble, as well as a Grandson, Josh (Becca) Humble, a Granddaughter, Hannah Humble, four great-grandchildren; Dalton Humble, Sydney Humble, Myra Burke Humble, and Ella Long; brothers, Randall, Donald, Dewey, and Danny Burke; and sisters, Charlotte Phillips, Sheila Gehring, and Barbara Carrender.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Elk Spring Valley Church. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Elk Spring Valley Church Building Fund and Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
