Linda Kay Shepperd, age 77, of Monticello, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home.
She is survived by her mother, Thelma Parmley; daughters, Zella (husband, Brian, Sr.) Fulp, Barbara Kay Shepperd, and Lola (husband, Rodney) Dobbs; seven grandchildren, Trenton Dobbs, Brandon Dobbs, Joseph Moss, Devon Heichel, Shelby Fulp, Zander Fulp, and Landon Shepperd; three great-grandchildren, Bryden Dobbs, Hayden Moss, and Jensen Moss; one sister, Marilyn Muse; and one brother, Curtis Parmley.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 11 am to 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Beaver Creek Methodist Church Cemetery (formerly, the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Linda Kay Shepperd Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
