Linda Norene Wilmoth

Linda Norene (Beaty) Wilmoth of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her residence in Overton County, Tennessee, having attained the age of 78 years, 3 months, and 20 days. She was born on December 5, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Willard Fountain & Nora Annis (Smallwood) Beaty. Linda was of the Christian faith and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She had formerly worked as a factory worker in the clothing industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Wilmoth; son, Shawn Baker; siblings, Kenneth Travis Beaty, Willard Kenton “Red” Beaty, Donna Nicholas, and Dorothy Crawford.

She is survived by her siblings, Norma Wright, Dean (& Don) Gray, Lois Gray, and Rhonda G. Neal; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CST in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
