Southbound I-75 Exit 62 Ramp in Rockcastle County to Close for Approximately Four Weeks

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the southbound exit ramp on Interstate 75 at Exit 62 (Renfro Valley) in Rockcastle County will temporarily close beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, as part of the ongoing U.S. 25/KY 461 improvement project.

The ramp is expected to remain closed for approximately four weeks.

Motorists seeking to access Renfro Valley and surrounding areas should use Exit 59 and follow U.S. 25 to KY 461, then reconnect with U.S. 25.

The U.S. 25/KY 461 improvement project includes reconstructing several intersections along U.S. 25 from I-75 to KY 461, widening KY 461 from U.S. 25 to U.S. 150, and converting the I-75 interchange ramps to roundabouts, which will improve mobility and reduce congestion for traffic exiting to and from the interstate.
