Bro. William “Corb” Corba Hicks, age 85, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at his home.
On August 10, 1957, he married Pauline Dishman. To this union 4 children were born: William, Jr. (Louise), Bobby Gene (Carol), Lisa Davis (Danny), and Linda Norris (Randy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Stella Mae Guffey and Mary Lou Adkins; and special friend, Emma Jean Leffew.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Taylor’s Grove Cemetery.
