James Douglas Davidson

James Douglas Davidson of Albany, Kentucky passed away at his residence in Clinton County, on Sunday, May 10, 2026, having attained the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 22 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on September 18, 1970, the son of Arnold Gene & Betty Ruth (Beaty) Davidson. James was of the Christian faith, attended Smith Chapel, and worked as diesel mechanic. He was known as a hard worker who always stayed busy. In his spare time, he enjoyed old cars, T buckets, motorcycles, and especially Harley-Davidsons. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Amos & Roxie Beaty, and paternal grandparents, Bedford & Nancy Davidson.

He is survived by his mother, Betty (Beaty) Davidson; sister, Brenda (& Michael) Arms; nieces and nephews, Mylia (&Phillip) Ford, Trevor (& Lora) Davidson, Brandon Arms, and Amber Arms; great-niece and nephew, Summer Ford and Audie Ray Ford; his dog, Diesel; along with many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. James Smith and Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 beginning at 4:00 p.m., and again on Thursday morning, beginning at 6:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Irwin Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
