He is survived by: four sons, Gene, Dale, Daniel, and David Mansfield; two daughters, Joyce Walston and Connie Russell; one sister, Brenda Peavie; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.
