Dorothy May (Crabtree) Coffey, age 86, widow of Earl Coffey, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby (Patricia) Coffey, Sherry (Clyde) Upchurch, and Jimmy (Mickie) Coffey; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Tyler) Dobbs, Julia Gaines, Whitney (JP) Tweedy, Phillip Coffey and Patrick (Chelsea) Coffey, Sherry Lynn Dobbs, Scott Upchurch, and grandson-in-law, Patrick Gaines.
She is also survived by: great grandchildren, Dawson and Jade Tweedy, Dillon Upchurch, Autumn Upchurch, Amanda McKenney, DayLynn Monday, Addalynn, Brentlee, Aviley, Benjamin, and Bram Coffey, Madison and Kim Denney, Harrison, Brenna and Camden Gaines; one sister, Jean Griffin; and one brother, Robert Crabtree; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025, between 10 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Sandusky Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Missouri Hollow Baptist Church.
